A template is a model of the concrete item that will be made: for example, a replica visual representation of the space in which the concrete countertop will be fitted. Usually made from plywood, a template represents the outline edges and any cut-outs and holes and can be used for creating the actual cast.
Our representative will visit your site and create a template to make sure even the most complex design is manufactured to perfection.
We have many years of experience creating concrete worktops and other surfaces and we will work with you to develop a design that will best fulfil your needs, taking into account both the desired style and overall look of the space, and any practical considerations.
Each customer is different and so each Stonemade project is individually created. Our fabricators will make all the necessary moulds by hand, following the design guidelines and either technical drawings and precise measurements or the physical template.
Stonemade use the best quality cements, aggregates, admixtures and pigments to achieve consistently excellent results. After setting and de-moulding, we carefully inspect the cast to make sure the item fits our stringent quality standards before it goes through the final finishing process, including grinding, polishing and/or sealing with a suitable sealer.
Once your items are made and finished, we will either deliver them to you for your own installation or arrange for a fitter crew to install the items on-site.
Our delivery charges depend on the size of the project and the distance. We always do everything we can to reduce your costs and keep the bill as low as possible. If your products are too heavy for a one-man delivery, we will not automatically send an extra delivery worker all the way from our base, but will offer you the option of arranging your own helpers if you wish to avoid the extra costs. We can, of course, provide a full delivery crew too.
Proper care of your concrete surfaces ensures they maintain their look and functional properties. Stonemade provides a complimentary guide to product aftercare with every item we produce.
